Q1) Why Use a Professional Plasterer?
Why use a professional plasterer? The main reasons are to have a highly experienced skilled plasterer, attention to detail and quality, not in a rush to finish.

Q2) How many coats of plaster on a wall?
Ideally two coats of plaster for any wall.

Q3) How long does it take to plaster internal walls in one room? For a whole house?
Around 4 hours for one room.

Q4) How long does it take to do external plastering for one standard house approx?
For a whole house allow approx 5 days.

Q5) How long does it take for the plastering on internal / external walls to dry?
For internal walls usually about 3 to 5 days to dry out thoroughly but it will vary depending upon different household temperatures and times of year.

Q6) How long does it take for screed flooring to dry?
Allow 3 - 4 days before stepping on a screed floor and this could take longer in cooler temperatures.

Q7) Do I need to put PVA on the new plastered walls before painting.
No you will not need to apply any PVA. Just water the first coat of paint down to apply a mist coat first, then decorate as normal.
